From August to October, freshwater eels from Shunde, Guangdong—known as the “Hometown of Eel”—are at their seasonal best. During this period, the eels are prized for their evenly distributed marbling, tender flesh and natural sweetness.
PUTIEN’s annual Eel Festival returns with premium, export-grade live eels prepared in four distinctive styles. Available at all PUTIEN restaurants from 15 August to 31 October 2026 at S$29.80 per dish. Come and savour this seasonal delicacy at its finest!
